What To Expect

We aim to help the youth find and follow Jesus. We want to see our young people grow and mature in their relationship with Jesus, and discover their own, unique roles within the church community. This means that we want to provide a safe place where your child can be rooted in God’s Word so that they can be transformed by the renewing work of the gospel. We also know that parenting is a team effort. Our goal is to faithfully partner with you as your children(s) grow in their walk(s) with Christ. We do this through open communication, as well as gathering resources to help keep you up to date on cultural changes and trends facing our youth.

Zone - Sunday Mornings

  • On Sunday mornings, we spend time having loads of fun and being inspired to grow in relationship with Jesus. We explore the Bible together and take time to receive prayer and pray for others.

Youth Service - Sunday Evenings

  • 4th Sunday of the month

  • A time to meet together that is run by youth for youth. All youth are welcome!

    We have social time together where we eat something delicious and make use of the games equipment.

    There is a time of worship, led by young people.There are some thoughts about God shared by young people.

    There is a response and time to reflect on what has been said. Then more games and relaxed time together.

    Youth Service is facilitated by youth leaders who are all volunteers, follow Jesus, and are DBS checked in line with our safeguarding policy.

OneCrew - Youth Serving Teams

  • Sunday Mornings - each serving opportunity is based around the individual serving area, time & schedule preference for each youth involved.

  • Allowing all youth ages to begin serving on the different Serving Teams at ONEChurch! The goal for ONECrew is to help bridge the gap by getting them connected early and feel more a part of their church family! 

    The youth will be able to choose from a list of serving teams and decide which team(s) they would like to try out or dive right into! This is not mandatory, so if they are not interested at the moment, that is totally fine, but the opportunity is now available for them whenever they'd like! :)

Edge - Friday Night Social

  • Social time together; playing games, access to games consoles, chatting,tuck and “Provoking Thoughts”.

    All of the youth workers at ONEYOUTH at ONECHURCH have valid DBS checks and are good people, who want to positively impact the lives of your children.

    ** Entrance is £1 and you’ll need money for tuck (if you want it)

Youth Life Group - Tuesday Evenings

  • Life Groups are a great way for young people to find consistent community, support, & accountability founded on Biblical truth. Our Tuesday Night Life Group is for young people in school years 10-13. We meet on a Tuesday evening at 7:30-8:30pm in the Youth Rooms at ONECHURCH.

    Meeting together usually involves an array of snacks, exploring Jesus through the word, intentional bible studies, & thought provoking discussions. Our goal is to provide a Christ-centered community for our youth to grow deeper in their relationship with God & to empower them to share their faith outside of the church walls.

    Youth Life Groups are facilitated by youth leaders who are all volunteers, follow Jesus, & are DBS checked in line with our safeguarding policy.
