Sunday Mornings at ONE Church

Our Sunday morning service is at 10am and last for an hour. There is something for everyone here at ONE Church, from a friendly welcome, to vibrant worship and challenging teaching, as well as some lovely refreshments and social time after the service. We also have several different children and youth sessions happening alongside our main service. Our service is also live streamed on Youtube, and you can access that by clicking HERE.

Is it going to be your first time with us? You have have some questions!

FAQ’S

Where do I sit? There is no special seating for anyone, so please sit wherever you like and wherever you feel most comfortable. Our services are live streamed to YouTube so some seating may be seen on camera. If you have any questions on this please speak to the Info Desk.

Do I have to stand and sing? Whilst lots of people stand and sing as part of their worship, we want everyone to feel at home and there is no pressure to do anything you aren’t comfortable with. If you would prefer to sit and sing or stand and not sing you are most welcome.

What happens with my children? Your children are really welcome, and they’re especially welcome to join our kids groups that are full of fun activities led by the kids team. There are groups for all children aged 2-11 and young people in school years 7-9.

Can I be prayed for? Yes! We love to pray with people. There is usually an opportunity during the service to leave your seat and go to be prayed for. Two people will ask you what you would like prayer for and will quietly pray with you - you won’t need to pray out loud. Alternatively, you can fill out the prayer card and hand it to the Info Desk.

Can I take communion? As a church family we take communion together once a month. This is something the bible teaches us to do as a way of remembering what Jesus has done for us on the cross. If you want to take a moment to remember and thank Jesus then please join in communion. If you would rather not then there is no problem letting the bread and wine pass by.

Do I have to stay at the end? At the end of the service you are invited to stay and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and some refreshments. This is also a great opportunity to meet some of the leaders, our church community and begin to feel more at home. However if you do need to rush off that is completely fine - we hope to see you again next week!
